DVD Connection

Can I feed a scart from my dvd player into the vcr slot on the TVD and watch dvds through the component HD connection to my telly?

im guessing but id assume the STB VCR scart connector is only configured by NTL:tw to act as an output feed and not an input feed as well, so probably not.
