Red face Big Bother!

Is anyone having trouble recording Big Brother( I said don't judge me! )? My TV Drive hates the evening version but copes occasionally with the morning repeat. If I cancel the series link and reset the series link, it doesn't record. If I set it to record individually, it doesn't record. If I'm watching the program and hit record, it doesn't record. No recording light comes on and in all instances the epg shows red ie. prog set to record. The box also misses Criminal Minds on LivingTV on Friday Nights.
See my post on :'TV Drive Freezing and Resetting' for more boxed up angst . Today (13th) the TV Drive reset itself once in the morning and again about an hour ago (3pmish). Am waiting for CS who 'will get back to me' but thought someone on the Forum might have some knowledge to share. Does anyone know of such probs? Or am I alone in the dark......

Angry Re: Big Bother!

In addendum... B B might not be relevent now that the series is over. However, rest assured everyone, the box refuses to record Xtra Factor, on Saturday and/or Sunday just the same! I've had a call/voicemail from CS which I will return tonight.

Question Re: Big Bother!

It's behaving!....ish. For about 2 weeks now, TVD has recorded everything I asked of it . However, last weds at 9pm, it rebooted. Now, it was scheduled to record Eureka at 9pm and appeared to not do so. However, next day, it suddenly appeared in my Recorded Programs as 'Recovered Content'. However, that and the one other recording that night were corrupted. That's a shame cos it's the one week Eureka wasn't repeated later in the week . I actually don't get disappointed any more as my expectations are less nowadays. Also the box sometimes doesn't respond to the remote when watching recorded programs. It does, however, catch up on all button presses a couple of mins later. Joy. Yes I have changed the batteries! I also have no interactivity on any channel and haven't for months. So rather than continue to pay £10 pm for a pain in my butt, it makes much more sense to go back to a plain cable digibox and buy myself a Hard Drive recorder. Telewest have yet to deliver the service I pay for, for even just a week. Either it's the TVDrive, my phone (calls to mobiles get bounced off somewhere giving that satellite 1 sec delay thing in conversations) or the broadband giving nothing like 4mb. Less phone calls, less hassle that's all I want. Any recommendations? ....or SKY of course(but what an upheaval THAT would be). Is anyone else politely putting up with TVDrive's mood swings?
