no screen displays

Hi all, just joined in the hope that you can help, i have a v plus box and a 32 inch logic tv, the tv has just been repaired a fault with noise in the back ground, since this time i have no screen diplays at the bottom of the screen, the volume on the remote does not work nor can we record any thing, a new box has been fitted still the same, tv repair people say not a fault in the set, have tryed another tv works fine seem to be going round in circles any ideas.

if you are using scart make sure it's in the TV socket and not the VCR one on the V+. That would solve the problem

have tryed all scart leads, if I connect another tv to the v + box all works ok. mastercare are insiting it is aproblem with the box,

I don't suppose you have, or could borrow, a dvd player that you could connect to the TV. If the picture etc is still effected you have proved it's the TV at fault and have proof you can throw at Mastercare as you will have taken the V+ out of the equation.

the dvd and sound system work fine, i think that one of the circiut boards that was replced could be causing some sort of interferance is this possable?.
