Unhappy problem recording on V+ box

Had a new V+ box installed last week and have been unable to record any program's successfully.

Set recordings OK, but when viewed, program end's after about 2 minutes and the box thinks that is the end of the recording. The recorded program's view shows the correct duration of the program, but the time remaining stays at 80hrs.

Have phoned support, but they keep saying it is a national problem that is being looked at. Yet this is not on the phone message or web status page.

Has anybody experienced similar problems and if it is a national problem, why is not more on the forum about it.

There is no such "national problem".

Try reformatting the disc. For instructions follow the link in my sig. If that doesn't fix it, keep ringing Faults until you get someone with an ounce of sense.

Thanks for the reply, reformatted HDD and tested recording - just the same. Have rung support again today and the box is going to be replaced next week. No mention of a national problem this time - funny ehh.
