Problems with V+ Box

Hi,

I am currently experiencing some problems with my V+ box, I can access the channels but am unable to get any of the menus or guides up.

I am in Southsea, nr Portsmouth and was wondering if this is a network based problem or rather something down to my box. I have another standard box in the house and I can access the menus however the time and date are appearing wrong on this box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Aaron

Have you tried re-booting them both?

Yes, I've rebooted the V+ Box and tried a full reset, following the instructuions of another member on here. I have done this a few occassions since yesterday evening on the v+ box. I have just restarted the standard box and the date is now right however the time is about 4 hours out.

Re: Problems with V+ Box

Are you using SCART on the V+? If so, make sure the TV is plugged into the TV SCART socket - that's the top one.

Re: Problems with V+ Box

If you have also checked all your connections then you have done all you can.

You are left with the choice of either waiting and hoping it will get fixed if it's a network problem or biting the bullet and making the dreaded phonecall.

Re: Problems with V+ Box

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks, I have now fixed the problem with the v+. It was down to the scart - i had moved some things around and put it in the wrong one! With regards to the V Box, I have also fixed the time and date problem, by resetting it a few times :-)
