Re-routing cable supply to TV

Having living room decorated and have a chance to re-route cable.
My question is cable needs to travel around 15m to the TV so what cable type will give me the best picture as will split to feed bedroom - do i need amplifier etc. Currently using Virgin supplied HDMI lead is it worth upgrading to improve quality - don't want to spend more than £50 on a lead though as i am a tight ***.

Re: Re-routing cable supply to TV

People post on this forum saying with digital an expensive lead makes no difference, with scientific links to "prove" it.

The evidence of my eyes says differently. Upgrading to a QED HDMI cable (from free VM one) has made a big improvement to my picture.

My eyes tell me that. Everyone must make their own decision. Do not wish to enter into discussion about it.

Does a better quality usb cable improve the quality of your print outs? no

It does not matter if I have my pinter connected by a 50p usb cable or even if I'm connected over a network wired or wireless. Hell I print to my printer at work over the internet(via vpn) As its a digital method of transmission the quality does not degrade regardless of cable used.

yeah but that is slightly differant a printer will not print until it has received all of the information where as a tv will try to shao a picture on pretty much any signal it is given

if you want a decent cable go onto ebay i bought one on there it is twice the thickness had gold plated connections and 5 mts long only paid £4.00 + p+p and it seems to be very good
