RF connections and V+ box

I've had V+ box installed and the engineer left an RF connection from DVD to TV but removed scart from DVD to TV, he left the old RF connector from DVD to V box unpugged.
I've now changed my TV to HD ready version, connected V+ to TV via HTMI cable and DVD to TV via component cable. I've still got scart from V+ to DVD.
What do I do with RF system? I've still got an aerial on my roof, not being used. Should I connect this direct to the TV or to the DVD and then to the TV?
Any help appreciated for a new member oldie!!
Bob

Re: RF connections and V+ box

If you are using the HDMI output from the V+ the scart and RF outputs are disabled since those can't support the Hi Definition.

Your best setup would be;

V+ HDMI > TV HDMI
V+ scart #2 (archive output) > VCR or DVD recorder input (if you have one)
DVD scart output > TV scart input
RF rooftop aerial > VCR / DVR recorder RF input (if you have one, else miss this and) > TV RF

Re: RF connections and V+ box

The VCR SCART still works when in HDMI mode (I think this may have been a part of the last software update).

Also, it is clean (no VM graphics added unlike main output).
