Sound loss on HTD-K180UK through V+

Since my V+ has been installed the two left speakers on my Hitachi HTD-K180UK have stopped working when I'm watching TV. They're fine when watching a DVD, listening to a CD or playing my PS2 through the AV connection so I'm assuming it's a problem with V+. The V+ box is connected to my HTD-K180UK via SCART and I choose the scart mode to view it. I've checked all the connections are secure but am still having no luck, any suggestions?

Welcome Keith!

When you say "watching TV" - do you mean watching from the tuner on the V+ or watching from the TV's built-in tuner?

Re: Sound loss on HTD-K180UK through V+

Can you swap some of your SCART cables? It sounds like a fault with the connection between the V+ and the TV. If this does not fix it, then it's probably a fault with the V+ box. Is there ever any sound from the V+ box on the left channel? e.g. whilst watching OnDemand programming?

No sound from the two left speakers at all when the V+ box is involved, changing the SCART is a good plan though, thanks.
