Had V+ for 1 week, some problems

Hello!

Had the virgin V+ box for one week now and have had a few problems. For a start, the box vibrates like mad. I've isolated the box from the wooden shelf it sits on and it's cut down the noise but the box still vibrates to the touch. More annoying is that on at least half the recordings I've watched there has been some kind of picture drop outs. Not constant drops outs but at least 1 instance of blockiness or a gap somewhere in the recording. Anyone sles getting the same thing?

Welcome Snake!

I think you ought to ring VM and have them send an engineer look at it. It sounds like a hardware fault.

My box was noisy but I noticed that when I touched it, the noise reduced. So I applied some pressure to the casing and....the noise was gone! This may or may not work for you, but worth a try!

However, the other problem regarding gaps in the recording and pixellation are not so easy to resolve and you will need an engineer to look at this.
