BBC iplayer via V+
Does anyone know anymore about access to the BBC iPlayer via the V+ box? This would be a great addition to the V+ service, considering that the BBC want to give access to the BBC archives via iPlayer. Also the catchup TV is very limited at the moment on V+, and this would make it much better.
See this link which claims that the BBC is planning to make it available on V+ very soon!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/foi/docs/speech...y_27_06_07.htm

Re: BBC iplayer via V+
I can't even get BBC Interactive to work on a V+ box so don't hold your breath. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. How wrongly can you press a red button? Do any of the BBC Interactive services ever work for anyone with a V+ box?

Re: BBC iplayer via V+
Yea. Should be During Spring this year.
And if V Boxes can handle it, V+ can, surely...

Re: BBC iplayer via V+
Until I read the article I would have said it wasn't going to happen as currently (if I'm not mistaken) uses DRM and is only good on windows.
That said, a DRM free mac version will be out later this year, so I suspect that is when V+ may get it also.

Re: BBC iplayer via V+
You wouldnt need DRM on the V+ box. It has HDMI protection or something that prevents you from recording on demand programmes

To the person with the red button problem. I had the same, its a fault with how VM have set up your system at their end. So you need to report it. They sorted mine out in an hour.
