HD or PVR?

Do you have or use the V+ for HDTV, or just for PVR?

Or both?

Chosen for the HD - but the PVR and features like pausing live TV are addictive!!!

Re: HD or PVR?

HD was the main reason I got it, but the PVR functions have helped me out so much, I now rely on them

Re: HD or PVR?

Had V+ installed just this weekend and it's excellent!
Have to admit though that I wanted it primarily for the PVR functionality
and consider HDTV as the bonus.

Re: HD or PVR?

Mainly PVR usage for me and find it fantastic. I live in flats so our Sky HD is only good for recording one channel at a time. V+ is perfect

There is so little HD content it is hard to justify HD. The upscaling functions seems to improve picutre quality overall, but for me the PVR functions are the clear winner. Its easy to use, quick and so far relaible. The more you use it the more you appreciate it. My favourite function is the record a series function. it just works.

Re: HD or PVR?

Both, but more PVR than HD TV purely because of content, or lack of it.
