Apparently, the Thursday Channel 4 repeat of the new series of Skins is in HD. Now this is the first time I've been bothered about our lack of C4HD but I'm bothered now. VM had the comment that they've made C4 HD content available by VOD and it's been pretty true (ie Ugly Betty and not a lot else) but if there's not the option to watch Skins in HD for no charge on Friday I'll be lodging a written complaint.
I spose VM have to realise they can't provide HD content for free & with a lot of new HD channels lined up won't be able to defend their lack of coverage much longer
expect VM charging for HD content soon - akin to Sky - of course they will also have to curtail pricing to avoid a flood of VM users switching to SkyHD too
