V+ and Sony RDRHXD770 - a good idea?
Now that V+ is finally working, I love it. Am thinking of buying a Sony RDRHXD770 DVD recorder/HD to go with it for archiving etc. The specs are amazing and at £150.00 it seems a good deal. A very good deal.
Initially using it with V+ and an elderly Sony Trinitron TV, so it's scarts all the way.
But I'm planning to buy a Sony Bravia HD ready in the future ... so it'll be HDMIs ...
Having said all this, can anyone think of a reason NOT to buy it?

Why not wait a while till hd dvd format is sorted out and price drops.
Buy the hd tv first for sure.
