Fuzzy top of picture with Virgin On Demand on V+

I have just had a V+ box installed and now when I view "On Demand" programmes I get a fuzzy picture at the top of the screen. Sort of looks like when the old VHS tapes were about to chew up.

I have checked "Catch Up" and it is fine. I have also check "Music On Demand" and that is fine too. All "Live TV" is fine.

Anyone come across this before?

Are you able to try it on another TV?

Surely it cannot be the TV, since it only does this with "Virgin On Demand" services, all other TV or "On Demand" services are fine?

Yes, I had this on my Samsung when I had the picture ratio set to auto detect on the TV, setting it to widescreen got rid of the problem

I'm on a Sony. Just tried switching this setting off but it didn't help
