just had 3 v+boxes installed...only one works?

Hi, earlier today i had 3 v+boxes installed. 2 were replacements of the old version and the 3rd was a new install. Only one of the boxes is working correctly.

The 2nd box allows me to watch about 10 channels...thats all, although the guide still appears showing the correct programme.

The 3rd box, which is the new install, has a screen which says 'telewest broadband, loading data, please wait' for nearly 5 hours now.

I have now spoken to customer services twice, and they are telling me that the boxes are assigned to different networks, and that is why only 1 of the boxes is working , the other 2 boxes may take upto 24hrs to recieve the signals. Has anyone else had this problem and if so can i expect to be up and running soon?

Any advice would maybe let me sleep a little better tonite

Re: just had 3 v+boxes installed...only one works?

Well 24hrs has been and gone....guess what....still no action. Spoken to tech's today, lost count how many times i had to reboot send a hit, reboot etc etc. Last call i had was to tell VM i WAS pleased as punch with the V+ box that WORKED. But, alas, due to no action and no explanation with regards to the 3rd box which says 'telewest broadband, loading data, please wait' (seems to have stumped everyone) the boxes are going back, my original set up is to be re-enstated and i will be having my £225 installation and connection fee returned. Funny thing is, I did have to explain to VM that they couldn't charge me for this when no actual installation or connection was made...psml... I think the School classes are to big these days.

Rock on Virgin Media.....Lets have a look, see, ah whats this........Sky tv...Cant be no worse than the last mob..
