Anyone else getting Live TV problems

Currently when watching live tv the sound cuts out for a second or so and the picture 'glitches'. My wife tells me it has been doing this for a few days.

Anyone else getting this (I'm in west yorkshire)?

Regards

Re: Anyone else getting Live TV problems

Im in leeds and have been getting this problem for a couple of months. The picture pixilates and the sound pops for a second every few minutes on a bad night.

In tha past 2 monts I've had 3 engineers, the signal checked and a new v+ box but this has made no difference.

The problem is worse some nights and always starts around 6pm. It only seems to happen on bbc1, 2, itv, ch4 and ch5.

Phoned faults last night as I belive its a network fault. They wanted to know what time our central heating came on as that could be affecting it!!!! NO WAY

Eventually they half admitted it could be the network stream, but they need to receive 5 complaints in the area before they can escalate it as a fault.

It is starting to be really annoying..

I'm in Castleford, West Yorkshire and get the same thing. I think it did the pop and pixelation thing last night. I'm not sure what channel though. It might have been UK Gold.

In that case I'll put a call in as soon as it happens again.

Cheers

it wont be the network stream as bbc1 and ch4 are on different streams, it could well be a network fault though

Re: Anyone else getting Live TV problems

Everytime I phone up they say there are no faults in my area.

I really don't want to switch to Sky but if this keeps continuing I may be forced into it.

Get your act together Virgin
