Pixelated blacks through HDMI.

I have a Hannspree HDTV with my V+ running through HDMI, looks great apart from when there's a lot of black it all goes blocky/pixelated. My 360 looks fine as does DVDs, i have the standard HDMI cable that comes with the box. Is it just a case of a poor cable?

Re: Pixelated blacks through HDMI.

I think you're running into bitrate limitations of digital TV. It it worse on some channels (Dave, ITV2) and better on others (BBC1)? If so then there's nowt you can do about it.

Don't worry about the cable. At 2m and less, all HDMI cables have equal picture quality. If it didn't work properly, you'd know about it...
