Just looked it was on 999, put TV on selected a channel all worked normal, so the update must be over, N Manchester.

Re: V+ update 21st August 5:30 am
When I turned my V+ on this morning (5:45) it started on BBC1 where I left it. I'll check the version number tonight to see if it has changed.

Re: V+ update 21st August 5:30 am
Ours was the same, on 999 when I came down but seems to be working OK.
Software version looks to be the same (1.1.2.2.2) and the logs don't show any updates etc.
Wonder is if it was just a blip of some kind?

Date = 21-8-07
Time = 7.15 AM
My V+ box was on stand-by all night and now when i've got up, the green lights on the front of the V+ box are showing ,... and then numbers will come up and then back to the dots. I's also making a buzzing noise.

It must be the update.

Anybody know what the update is supposed to do please?

I don't know, but i'm sure the updates don't usually take this long.

Re: V+ update 21st August 5:30 am
Mine is counting down to 452 then showing a bunch of lines. I've not experienced and update before so I guess that is right. How long do the updates normally take?

Re: V+ update 21st August 5:30 am
Of course with whats going on this morning - don't wish to tempt fate in any way but I suppose the phones will now go out of action with everyone ringing the lovely CS people at 8.00 am. No doubt if anyone gets through and gets the answer it will be posted on the forum.
