V+ Recording Problems

Went to record GMTV this morning at 7.00am and was told that it clashed with two other recording settings and to delete one of the others if I wanted to record this one.
Well, I knew that I hadn't set any recordings but checked anyway. Nope, no recordings set. Tried twice more with no luck. Almost gave up but whilst watching the programme I pressed the record button and the little orange light came on to show it was actually recording the program.

This is the second time I have had a problem with recording in the last week, last time rebooting the box solved it but does anyone know if there has been any software updates that couls cause this or indeed has anyone else had similar problems?

My v+ has not been working for almost 2 weeks now despite 3 calls to faults and 1 to customer services. I keep getting 2004x as the error message.
