V+ Sky Movie Channels, recording.
Hi, new to the forum, Hello everyone.
A quick question, we are having, v+ installed on, August 10th. Just want to know, we currently subscribe to the Sky Movies collection, will we be able to record off these movie channels, such as, Sky Movies Action & Thriller, onto the v+ hard drive, as someone at Virgin, said we could not, because of copyrite issues, but then someone else said we could? Any help appreciated. Many thanks.

At the moment you cannot view and record. But you can record them without watching via the tv guide and set to record.
Hopefully they sort this in an update

Thanks for your reply, and your welcome.
So you mean, we cannot record, and watch that same sky movie channel, at the same time?
Sorry if I am a bit thick. New to this sort of thing.

I'm confused - I record Sky Movies all the time (cos my red button doesn't work). Once it's recording, you can play the movie back as it records. There's no reason why this wouldn't work and I've done it a number of times.

Yes, I said you cannot record the movies through red button and watch, but can watch record seperatly and watch.
