What is the V+ Service like?

I'm looking into upgrading my package to the VIP Package (£85)

One Slight question does V+ box support 1080p.

I also would like to hear some of your opinions/Exp on the V+ service as a whole...

i.e is it worth it, would you recomend it

I feel the price for the VIP Package is good compared to what i am paying without the service...

I love my V+ boxes, I have only had them about a month but I already wonder what I did without them.

1080i max. Telly doesn't go higher! I love mine now. The recording is great as is the enhanced quality of the HDMI connector. And if you have a 1080 TV or screen you'll enjoy the wonders of BBC HD, which is of gobsmacking quality! Especially Planet Earth or Galapagos!

Re: What is the V+ Service like?

Happy with my V+ - some people are suffering from "stuttering" though, so it may be best to check if your area is prone to it.

Mine is set to 1080 wide but I can't see any appreciable difference on either setting.

Re: What is the V+ Service like?

Love the recording features although not quite upto Sky + standards yet.

The HD bit is a bonus but not really a big factor at the moment because there's little content on VM.

Don't like the fuzzy menus in 1080 mode and the awful time lag changing channels.

Happy so far - will be more happy when they fix the little bugs and get some more HD programming.
