Unable to view V+ recordings, quote 2056

Was trying to view something I recorded last night and a message comes up saying 'there is a problem with this recording' and to reset the box (which i've done,) and if this doesnt work call CS and quote 2056. I'm actually unable to view anything at all recorded on there not just this one show, any ideas of anything i can do?

Please dont make me have to call CS!!

Thanks in advance you lovely people

Re: Unable to view V+ recordings, quote 2056

never mind, i've found a solution apparently reformatting the hard drive works

For anyone else having similar problems this is how you do it:

Press the "Home" button on the remote control
Next, Press and hold down the "Play/Pause" button near the top of your remote control for about 5 seconds and you should see E-00 on the V+ display
Next press the TVDrive (V+) button on the remote
Finally press the channel down (CH -) button 4 times on the remote control and you will see HDD4 appear on the display

The V+ box will then start to reformat which will take a few minutes and it will boot up all formatted.

I was having a similar problem - a 2005 - the solution advised was to press the reset button, which didn't work.

So I just unplugged the box completely plugged it back in - this sorted the problem put.
