I dont believe it!!
To by a guy in the pub - yer I know. Hence asking here.
That brand new customers only will get V+ for free. He said he had one & has been told.Not in so many words.Tough luck you signed for the year your stuck with it.Cancel sure read T&C

you can continue as you are and pay £10 per month or pay a one off fee of £100 and not have a subscription fee for v+

I don't have a V+HD box but £100 sounds good... is that one of charge for life?

it is but the £100 is only if you already have v+, if you don't its £150, sorry
oh and as you still don't own the box if something goes wrong the usual applies

if you did it TODAY, as in before the changes take effect, you would pay £75 install fee and £10 per month if on xl or £15 per month on anything else for one box or £25 install fee if having a v box in another room

i dont think theyve been officially announced yet but they start from 1st june

I can see sky [already dropped the SKY+ charge], to now offer the Sky+ box as standard, or for £50, and then take the **** out of VM for making people pay for a box they will never own
