Virgin Media Accounts....What a mess!!

I have been an NTL broadband customer for several years now and recently I added a TV XL package to my deal.

I have been paying for my NTL broadband via Direct Debit without much of a problem. However now that I have their TV service I am getting TWO bills from them, one for my old BB service (instructions via E-Mail, and taken by DD) and another through the post for my combined service, in other words I am paying twice.

I have tried calling Customer Dis-Service, sorry Customer Service, and after going through all the menus, the line goes dead. I don't intend paying the bill that came through the post although it states that I will be charged a further £10 for late payment.

How can they run a company this way??, and how is that when you want to place an order you can get through with no bother at all, but try to get through to complain...not a chance.

Any suggestions?

Gordon.

Re: Virgin Media Accounts....What a mess!!

so are you paying for broadband on both bills or tv on one bill and broadband on the other, if your paying for broadband on both bills then give cust services a call and they will rectify it for you as you should only be paying for tv on 1 and broadband on the other

Hi Shaun,

I am being charged for Broadband on my Direct Debit A/C and TV AND Broadband on my A/C that comes through the post.

I have tried calling CS but it's hopeless, can't get through after all those pesky menus.

Gordon.

PS. I was £25 in credit on my BB A/C, then I got an e-mail telling me that they were about to take a further £25 via DD for my BB, when I mentioned this to their sales dept (that's the only department I can get an answer from) they assured me that they would not be taking the £25 payment, guess what.....they did!! so now I should be £50 in credit.

I only wish Sir Richard would read this post.

Richard Branson probably won't, but we do have some folks on here that can help, sit tight.
