V+ in Nottingham

Thinking about going for V+ but slightly unsure about the quality of service.

Been happy with the standard digital service from NTL, but Virgin not so good

Is the V+ worth it?

Re: V+ in Nottingham

i moved back to virgin for the V+ hd box, from sky+, and apart from the slightly slower response to button pressings(compared to sky), V+ soon became an important item to have , 2 channels record as u watch a third, and the live pause also works on that. then there bbc hd, which sounds fantastic thru an amp, im also getting 1meg broadband and the 2 together are just £40 a month

Hi,,

Have had TV Drive(v+) in Nottingham since early Jan and have been very happy with it.As stingeyal has said the response is a little slower than sky but for me the benefits out weigh its bad points.

Having the three tuners is a big thing for me.You can record two and watch a third and you will be surprised how many times this is useful.

Re: V+ in Nottingham

Thanks for the replies, looks like I will be going for the V+

One further question, if I don't keep my current stb there is a £75 installation charge if I keep the stb does it need to be connected as I don't need a second tv

Thanks

Re: V+ in Nottingham

Second (original) STB does not need to be connected - mine isn't. Installer will probably be grateful as it saves them a job
