I have just bought myself a Toshiba 37X3030D LCD TV I've got it working with a Scart cable no problem but want to use the HDMI cable that was supplied with my V+ box.
I know I must be doing something stupid but I cannot get it to work?
Can somebody please give me an idiots guide on how to do it
what so you mean you've got to connect both the scart and the HDMI up? (to begin with), Get it working on HDMI then unplug the SCART? Im having a load of bother with a samsung 32" R87 wishing id never bought the god damn thing

The first part of the set up requires that you be able to get a picture on your TV to see the standard V+ output.
With the scart cable and Hdmi cables connected....Press 'Home' ---8 Settings --4 Change Display & Audio Settings.
Change 'TV display format' to 'HiDef HDMI'
After you choose the HDMI option you will need to choose the HIdef option and also choose either 720 or 1080, then press OK and the screen will read ‘testing your TV’. Press OK again.
Your screen will blank out at this point as the V+ has disabled the scart connection and is now using your HDMI cable.
You now need to switch your TV over to the correct AV input for the HDMI.
Your TV screen should now show an option to press text to confirm.
