Remote Volume control success

As I've seen many a post on volume controls.

For my Sharp Aquos LC52XD1E I had success with 0009.

Maybe someone can manage a sticky on this topic as the Virgin installation guys blatantly lied to me about this one, saying that it was not currently possible to get your remote working...

...what they really meant was that Virgin Media haven't bothered to do the research to get your remote working properly and don't want to tell you that.

Slap wristies!

Thanks again for this forum, I pitty those who haven't found you yet. Maybe Virgin should give a leaflet out with the installations...

Yep found the codes on the V+ list but none of the Sharp refered ones actually worked. I'm guessing they have taken the original number settings for their standard service which would be relevant for CRT's, but not updated them to the modern TV's out now. However saying thay, my old remote for NTL worked fine with my new telly!

Either way, I'm thinking they should invest a little more time into finding this out for the customers.
