HDMI not functioning between V+ and Samsung HMDI input

I'm having an issue with the V+ box and my samsung LCD. It has an HDMI input on the back of the TV but when i try to select HDMI on the V+ Box it flicks onto the HDMI input and all i get is green static and flashing. It then cuts back to the scart.

Any ideas?

Which resolution are you choosing - 720 or 1080. Try it on 720. If still no good, check the TV manual to see what resolutions it supports. What is the model no of the TV? Is it a good quality HDMI cable?

Samsung LE32R41BDX 32

It was a £20 1.8 meter HDMI on from PC world. I've tried it on all 4 settings and each produce the same result. I bloody hope its the cable

I think it supports bothe 720p and 1080i

Could be the cable, TV, or the V+. Have you got any other HD sources (say a games console) that you could use to check out the TV. My son has that model TV and it works great on 1080i driven from an XBOX. Never tried it with my V+ which is connected to a Panasonic LCD via HDMI with no problems & great results. Hope for your sake its the V+ (you won't have to pay for that!). One last thought, if you have a component cable handy you could try that.

Ahhh have figured it out. I've wrenched the cable about in the back of the box and its finally kicked it. The cab;e's now at a jaunty angle but its working spot on.

I reckon Chimps must have put the V+ boxes together

Thanks for your help anyway
