Re: V+ box getting worse by the day...
Im having the same troubles.
Try reseting your box, and give it up to 2 mins to gather programme info, and it should work again. It may still be slow, i don't think thats something we can sort tho.
Hope it helps!

Re: V+ box getting worse by the day...
I had a very similar problem, when I eventually got through to somebody with more than one brain cell at Virgin Media, took sometime I might add, they provided the following... note you will loose any recorded items...
IMPORTANT INFO:
* COPY TO VCR OR RECORDABLE DVD ANY PROGRAMMES YOU WISH TO KEEP
* USE REMOTE TO REFORMAT
* EACH KEY STROKE NEED TO TAKE LESS THAN 10 SECONDS
* IF STOP OR QUIT APPEARS YOU WILL NEED TO START THE PROCESS AGAIN
KEYSTROKES:
Press HOME button
Press and hold down the PLAY button for 5 seconds - you will see
E-00 appear on the display
Press the TV-DRIVE button - you
will see E-01 appear on the display
Press the CH- button 4 times - as
you do this hdd1, hdd2, hdd3 then hdd4 will appear on the display
Reformatting will then begin and rft will appear on the display, then the
box will reboot itself this process can take between 3-5 mins depending on
how much you had recorded.
