Scart Sound But No Picture

I wonder if anybody can help, at the moment I use my V+ throught the scart leads, and everything works correctly on the TV. When I change to the VCR the scart output doesnt display a picture but I do get the sound. Also when I change the VCR to the RF signal it just gets flickering lines as if there is some interference.

Does anybody know how to correct these problems? I've heard that you can manually change the RF output channel on the box, how is this done?

The video feed on the VCR SCART output is always disabled until you commence the "Copy to DVD/VHS" option in the V+ menus. You can therefore never get the being-watched programme on the VCR SCART output.

As for the RF output, have you re-tuned the VCR RF input to the RF output channel of the V+?

Ok, thats a pain about the scart. As for the RF, both the VCR and V+ are set to no. 52 but the vcr just gets flickering vertical lines.

Hi i take it you have swapped the scarts leads round .As you know you get a picture on the tv scart on the back of the v + box .As for the vcr only have the rf output of the v+ box into the vcr do not connect a aerial .When you find the picture put your aerail in thai will prove you have a clash

Thanks for the advice. I have just tried unplugging the aerial and it hasnt made any difference to the flickering.

The VCR Scart output is only disabled if connecting by HDMI but as the OP is using SCART the VCR SCART output is always enabled, you can change the RF channel but only from the engineers menu.
I have a DVD/HDD Recorder connected to the VCR SCART on my V+ box and i can happily record Live TV or a V+ Recording direct to my DVD/HDD Recorder without any problems.
