V+ box has random reboots
Sorry for posting twice, but I posted this in wrong section yesterday.
Since the last epg upgrade my V+ box seems to freeze more. It would seem to be worse if after watching a channel for more than 45 mins, you then try to change channel or use menu features.
In the worst case it reboots and has done this several times in last week whilst recording on 2 channels at the same time. (though this may be a seperate issue)
Anyone any ideas what this might be ?

Re: V+ box has random reboots
Its now lost all of the view by series link. When you click on it it says no recorded series to view.
They are still there on A-Z or view by date links and I can watch them.
Tried CS but after calling 1st line, I was told 5 days till I get a call back to tell me what to do.
Anyone any ideas how to fix this or does it need a reformat to fix it ?

It wouldn't surprise me if a format sorted it. My V+ had some problems just before and after the Virgin epg/software was downloaded. I formatted it and it has been solid now for nearly three months. I've only had one reboot in all that time. Shame you've got to loose all your recordings though to try it.

Re: V+ box has random reboots
Try this
1) Press the Home button.
2) Press and hold the Play/Pause button until the display says E-00.
3) Press the V+ or TVDrive button. The display will say E-01.
4) Press the ch- button 4 times. The display will say 'hdd4'.
5) The V+ will then begin the reformat, and the display will say 'rft'. This may take up to 5 minutes. Afterwards the V+ will reboot normally
Good luck
