V+ and secondary tv
Hi
Ive just upgraded to the V+ service keeping my old samsung box as secondary, In the past the samsung box has been supplying chanels to 2 different tv's (frontroom & kitchen) with the use of the RF out lead (COAX EXTENSION). Is there any way to perform the same task with the new V+ box as my installation was nothing more than a complete hash from start to finish and 3 days down the line and ive just received pictures in my front room, V+ service is still not enabled, thinkig of ripping the whole think out and going to SKY........
Thanks

if you set your V+ box to HDMI output it will disable your rf and scart output.biggest problem ive seen with V+ hits is that the config files to enable the V+ service are sent to the wrong card I.E. the set top thats been moved.ive been on faults where this has happened so it seems to me that the call centres arent able to action this 'hit',but its a simple phone call when the tech arrives.hope this helps.

Re: V+ and secondary tv
Hi
I dont think my V+ is set to HDMI output, i currently have the V+ connected by scart to my old SANYO tv and the pictures are fine etc, I also have a coax feeding the tv in the kitchen but it doesnt seem to get any pictures at all, is there somrthing i can change in the set up to allow the RF output, or is it an engineers job.
Thanks

Re: V+ and secondary tv
The RF output signal from the V+ box is on a different channel (frequency) to other NTL boxes, so you will need to re-tune the TVs to receive the new signal.

When you order V+ the tech who fits it will move your other box to where you want it
