Hi,
I have just had the V+ and a second box installed. I have been a Sky user for years but finally thought a change would be good. I have read elsewhere on this site that the RF output is disabled when watching anything in high definition but you can still get a video signal out of the VCR scart socket to drive other rooms and tvs.
Does anyone know if this has been stopped too as on the latest Scientific Atlanta 8300DVB box as I cannot get any form of video signal out of either SCART socket when in high definition.
If this is the case does anythone have any suggestions about pushing the TV through to other rooms via an aerial cable, this problem could be a reason to stay with Sky even thought the V+ picture is better.

Re: HiDef and RF output
The scarts are turned off when in hi def mode .The vcr scart only becomes active when you want to copy stuff from the v+ box to dvd. Could you use your second box to send a signal around the house ?

Hi,
Thanks for the comment, this what I may do, possibly from a third box if I can get one or I will just drop the whole setup back to RGB as there is little HD I want to watch at the moment anyway.
