V+ Box

Upgraded to one of the VIP packages with virgin, received the new V+ set top box, now one problem I've found is when pressing the information (I button) on movies there are no actor names shown like on the old telewest box i had. Does anybody find this rather annoying especially when knowing who's in a movie is the part of the deciding factor to whether you watch the film or not. My old box has been moved into one of the bedrooms upstairs and this still shows actor names so its definitely the V+ box itself

Anybody know if they plan to change this or could it be i haven't got a setting enabled.

Thanks

Re: V+ Box

Its the same for everyone, I'm afraid.

I pressed 'i' on a BBC film today, and it was the same. No actors names.

You will have to get used to it, unfortunatly... or by a TV Guide... or wait for the Virgin Magazine to come out for TV listings. (the latter being a long time off.)

Re: V+ Box

I think it's way overdue that we have a squillion companies 'mackling up' their own EPG information - each one writing virtually identical information but not sharing

This simply isn't viable

This is a profession in it's own right and it's about time thet enlisted (farmed out this work) to the professionals instread of bodging it together themselves
