cannot delete planned recordings

Hi guys,

a little help required. On Friday night I was trying to record "ugly Betty" for the umpteenth time, I had set it for "record Series" but for the last three weeks it has failed. So I tried again after it failed, and I did not have that option available on the TV Guide. So I went to see what was on the planned series recordings menu and lo I had Ugly Betty listed three times!!! So I deleted one, then tried to delete the other two, it DIDN'T. It said it would delete the program "unknown" and no future recordings would be made. Why did it say "unknown"? So i tried to tidy up the "planned recordings" menu and was left with two "ugly Betty" series recordings and a "waking the dead" series recording that I cannot delete. Also I tried to set up a series record for "doctor who" tonight, again the option was not available!!! Can I reset every thing to get rid of the anomalies. or do i need CS.

errrrrrrrrr and how do I do that?

I've also noticed that this is thread is not shown on the nthellworld home page. In fact I am pretty sure none of these threads have shown on the list on the home page, two threads have new postings at about 13:00 but neither come up on the panel that says "latest NTL topics" panel, is there a problem with threads in this group not showing up in the home page?

I had the same thing happen and had to reformat. Don't forget to back up anything you haven't watched onto another format (DVD or Video) and you will lose all your planned and saved recordings.

It did work though - I've not had the problem since.
