Engineer has just installed third box in five days. All working (inc VOD) at the moment, but I'm not holding my breath!

Re: "V+ is currently unaailable"

I have had my V+ box for 3 weeks and have been told the following by these departments in this order, Faults- V+ not on my package. CS- V+ on package its a Fault problem. Faults- resent all signals, no joy. CS- V+ not available, nationwide fault.

What is going on????

Hmm, odd. It might just be a dodgy box, but have you tried reformatting?

Re: "V+ is currently unaailable"

The problems I had with sound were solved by strengthening the signal.

V+ started working when the box was changed.

V+ looks excellent now - evn the 'boss' is beginning to look happy with it!!!!

Have spoken to VM to moan about the bill, and have now found out that the V+ was not actually on my account, even after all what happened with the previous posts

Re: "V+ is currently unaailable"

To be fair, it is a very unusual issue and a reformat is a last resort (well, last before sending an engineer!) - but I'm glad it sorted it out for you.

Re: "V+ is currently unaailable"

I had V+ installed on Tuesday. The Vod gives the "temporarily unavailable" error with "Quote 1059/OSS20006" and has done since the install. The installers said that everything was working when they left and showed me a few menus, but didn't click on the menus.

Anyway to top it all, my cable phone line has just stopped working as well.

BTW i'm in West Yorkshire and have been with cable for years error free until now.
