I have just had V+ installed which is running all around my house , when i try to change the RF output on my STB as here Pace Di4000-N and Di4000-T - Press and hold select, then add left arrow, then add services. Use CH + or CH - to alter the channel shown on the LED display. You can also switch the Remodulator off by going below channel 21. Then repeat the button sequence to store the setting, nothing happens is this due to the fact that i have a new silver controller
The Pace and the V+ STBs are entirely different and will have different menu commands. If you can change the RF output channel on the V+, it's most unlikely to be done the way you are trying.
Thread split from the useful STB - it deserves its own

I am trying to get both my Virgin services going all around the house but the RF is the same so they clash causing distortion. How can i change the boxes RF
I also have a problem with the RF output set to channel 52 which interferes with BBC2, my installer never checked this and to be honest I didn't notice myself until a few days earlier. Does anybody know how to get into the service menu to be able to alter this setting rather than me ringing CS. My box is one of the new V+ black altec lansing boxes.
Pleased with the service bye the way just this little niggle is bugging me.
I have an engineer booked for Monday to sort out a problem with my card , i am going to ask him if there is a way to change the RF output on the new V+ or the old Telewset pace box , i will keep you posted on the answer
To change the RF channel on a V+ box, reset the box while holding the up and down arrows, hold them for about 15 seconds, this will then open the engineers menu and the RF channel can be changed from there
