Intelligent PVR

I was under the impression that V+ and Sky+ are intelligent.

Why then did my V+ box not recognise that yesterdays Eastenders was only an hour long?

Also the series link I had for 24 on Sky one still records in the appropriate timeslot but only whatever is showing on the Virgin Central channel at the time.

Anyone have similar experiences? It takes the PVR away from being a one button operation and into the realms of checking through TV guides again.

Re: Intelligent PVR

All that means is that someone didn't update the guide data.

Re: Intelligent PVR

If the data fed to it is incorrect then the outcome of it using that data will be incorrect.

I have both Sky HD and Virgin V+. On the Sky box the EPG was correct (No Waterloo Road and a longer Eastenders) but the V+ was as you say, not updated.
