Does any one know what this means its on the front of my V+ but i have never actually got it to light up?

It'll never light up

The box itself supports an optional module for a multiroom service - where content recorded on one box can be watched on another, in effect using one box as a VOD source. Someone posted a link a while ago to Scientific Atlanta's site where this was described in more detail. NTL/Telewest/VM decided not to bother with this feature, but seeing as how the front display is a standard component, the light is still there.
