Hello everyone - noob alert

I currently have two standard NTL boxes.
Does anyone know if I can get 2 V+ boxes?

I have an HDTV in the lounge & a proj in the bedroom so I'd like both HD if poss. Anyone done this? If so whats the cost?

If I can only have the one then I'll have to make a tough decision!

But as I'm already paying £15 extra for the standard 2nd box at least it won't cost me anything extra!

Or will they try charging me for removing one of my boxes???

I would call them but they are shut till monday now

Any info appreciated......

AT the moment you can only take one V+ box. However keeping the 2nd normal box you can always change to an extra V+ later on.

Check out the plans and depending on what you've got the price for keeping the 2nd box will be £5 or £9.50 (if I rememeber right)

Only 1 V+ per customer at the moment till it all gets rolled out, but once demand dies down they will most likely be allowing extras.

No - they won't charge you for taking the 1st set top box away. I had 2 and they exchanged one for V+ and downgraded the price on the extra that I kept.

Excellent - thanks for the info chaps

I will be making an appointment tomorrow.

The proj / tv debate isn't really that important at the mo anyway as there is very little HD content on NTL atm....

You won't regret getting a V+ box, they are fantastic. I am delighted with mine. I also have always had two standard boxes, so for the time being I have one v+ box and one standard box. But as soon as second V+ boxes are available I shall be availing myself of one. Anything less is just SOOOO 2005!

I am looking forward to getting my V+ box, It cant be any slower than the current NTL crappy box we have???

BH didn't get chance to ring tonight....
Must admin my juices are now flowing though - should have done this weeks ago!

Can anyone point me in the direction of some piccis of it though - I'm not bothered as long as it gives a good picture but it's got to look good for the wife!

If it aint nice & silvery she will be peeved

I have ordered today but am a bit peeved as they gave me an install date of the 10 March - My brother ordered 2 hours later & got this Thursday - the git!
