Volume problems

Hi guys,

Have been trying to find out how to set the remote on my v+ box to be able to use the volume on my Samsung LE32R72B. Have found the entry in the forum for the TVDrive, but pressing and holding either VOL+ and MUTE or the VOL+ and VOL- keys for 4 secs does nothing.

I believe that the code to enable the remote is 0079 but just wondered if someone knew how to use it with relation to the VPLUS box?

Thanks.

Re: Volume problems

I also have a Samsung and the code has never worked, you may be doing it right but the code is not the one for your tv.

Re: Volume problems

Gave another go tonight and have managed to get code 0080 to work. Volume now works like a treat.

Re: Volume problems

Can you familiarise me with this, where do you get the codes to set the volume and how do you enter them into the remote?

Re: Volume problems

There are a couple of threads on this:-

http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/10...ote-codes.html

Some of these mention getting an on screen display, which I didn't get. Press and hold VOL+ and mute for 4 secs, look at the top of the remote when you do this and you will see an LED flash red 2/3 times then you just type in the code for your TV, if you can't find the code it might be worth asking in a new thread.
