picture not good on v+ box

I haven't really noticed any difference but Mum says the picture quality is a lot worse and too red so is there anything i can do to change the picture quality?

I think it's hdmi as analogue tv isn't working

RF Connection ....Do you have to put your tv on a certain channell to watch cable.
Scart Connection ...When you swich on the cable box does the tv switch straight over to the cable channel on its own or you have to switch it to av.
HDMI ...What is the make and model of your TV ,to see if it is HD compatible.
