I am having a V+ installed tomorrow, what do I need to know is done before the installer leaves?

Not a lot really, he will wait there until all three tuners are receiving signalls from the network. He'll likely give you a contact number to call if your channels have not come across after 24 hours.

My install took about 30 minutes, which showed commitment really, considering it was only a box swap, very nice chap.

Will he just use a cable splitter for the modem? (presently receive bb through Samsung stb which is going)

Make sure he has set the PIN on your box before he leaves - my guy didn't do this and it meant a call to Faults (rectified within a few hours)
