v+ box up and running but I have a couple of questions

How do I get the volume to work, i pressed the volume buttons on the control but nothing happens also how do I get the information up on a certain programme while on the channel

Re: v+ box up and running but I have a couple of questions

The volume buttons don't do anything to the V+ box. The idea is, if you have the patience to try all the options, that you configure them to change the volume of your actual TV. I say patience because if you have a TV like Philips there are dozens of codes to try and it is just a case of trial and error until you find the correct one.

Are there instructions for programming the remote? Mine never came with any to do that?

There's help available in the menu plus all the codes : Home/Help and info (9)/Help with your remote control (8)
