No Channels!

Hi, I had my V+ installed on Tuesday and was told it could take upto 24hrs for the channels and the like to come through, so i waited and next day nothing! Rang up was asked the STB and smartcard number, was then told to give it another 24 hrs! So today came and still no change, just rang them and have been told its with 2nd level something or other and it could take 3 - 5 days! Does this sound right? Thanks!!

Re: No Channels!!

this seems to be a problem with quite a few installations with both stb and V+, second call usually fixes the problem at which time they ask for all the numbers of the rear of the box.

If they offer to send an engineer out, you dont need one they just need to pair the box through faults.

I repeat you do not need and engineer, unless the settings havent been saved like what happened with mine

Just spoke to faults again and it turns out they've got my box number wrong so the card didn't match the box. I have given my new box number and have to wait for it to be paired with the card. Thanks everyone
