Press Red Interactive/V+

Mine isn't working on me V+. Dunno why.

I press Red on the BBC but it doesn't come up with anything.

I have to press TV to change channel also!

Can't win here!

Anyone having any probs?

I don't have V+ I just have a standard STB and my red button doesn't work on BBC either.

they seem to be testing it now we can now accses sky movies 9 first time today and this evening a couple of times news 24 worked faults said should be ready by thursday makes sense this is for the v+ box enjoying it though

UPDATE
All seems to working checked (bbc news 24,Challenge,itv,bbc1,skymovies 9,)all red button features work whether its tempory or perment i dont but fingers crossed.

Once again, nothing on the BBC.

It just says Loading, then that box goes off after a minute or so, then I'm left with the original Program.

Haven't tried any other channel.

I pressed reset, but I haven't unplugged and plugged it back in, just reset...

the box being the little Loading/ blue button box, not the V+.

Is anyones interactive working?
Pressing red on BBC1 or ITV just says 'please wait loading' and then it gives up after a few mins and returns to normal tv. Havent had it working since getting V+ installed.

I noticed that I am the only V+ user on this thread on Langley though.....

Mine is now working.

You need to call up (daunting task, I know...) and say you haven't got it.

They need to enable interactive features to you account (if you have multiroom, the other STB will work) and also send a new code down the thing for you.

They say it takes 20 mins unplugged, but it took a week of persistent calling up to get it sorted.

also, tell them u refuse to pay for a service which you can't usÃ¨ such as sky movies 9 and they may give you a slight reduction on the next bill.

We have an old Pace STB (V+ on order)

Red button hardly ever works. Causes box to lock up/run slow.

Been like that from day one. Always assumed it to be normal for NTL.

Last time we called them out for an STB problem (pay per view problem) my broadband didn't work for 3 days after their visit so I tend to live with the problem rather than risk an engineer coming out :-)

mines was working fine this morning now after watching smackdown this afternoon via play it has gone back to hanging done this a few times maybe a glitch in the software.

gadge: unplug for 10 secs, and should be ok.

it happened to me today during united v reading.

Anyone else: don't put up with problems.

NTL and now Virgin has only one fault: Customer Service.

I've never had a problem with the services. I've had a couple of billing issues (sorted since).

don't settle for second best.

get onto them

most problems an be resolved from their end!

i did what grabbi said unplugged for 10 seconds left it minute to be on the safe side red button working but ive found out if you watch something on vod or go interactive it goes back to square one so im now going to leave it and see what happens maybe this update we get 24/28 this month may sought it out.

This is a known issue on the V+ on the ex-Telewest platform as there is a logged Technical support ticket number which means they are looking into it, I lose all red button functuality on the V+ and if you press reset I get it back and it starts working again for about a week or so before I have to press reset again
