The Bourne Screw-Up (Suggestion for Virgin Media)

I taped (well, recorded) The Bourne Supremacy - but since ITV sodding News was slap bang in the middle of it, my TV Drive only recorded the bit before the news. Agh! I was really getting into the film as well.

Any chance that ITV films could be set up as some sort of mini series link, so that in future the parts of films before and after the news are recorded?

ITV do this again and again and again with their films. This is gonna keep catching people out until something is done about it.

It would be nice. I was sitting there tonight thinking "how are they gonna wrap this film up with less than 10 minutes to go...."

Re: The Bourne Screw-Up (Suggestion for Virgin Media)

I thought Supremacy suffered from the direction specially in the hand to hand fight scenes excellent story and a good film but I found the fighting to much in your face so you couldnt really savour the moves used Hope the pace of the next film stays as high but id like a bit of distance to the fighting so I can enjoy the violence better

Goofyish is an unknown quantity at this point
Unhappy Re: The Bourne Screw-Up (Suggestion for Virgin Media)

I did the same thing - tried to fast forward past the news and found the second half hadn't recorded

I would have thought it possible for the TVDrive/EPG to 'know' when this happens and to rodord the whole film!

Quite why ITV ruin a film by doing this is beyond me, especially ones on ITV2 with the very pointless ent. news.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's done deliberately to prevent the film from being recorded.
