VoD just started working in Cambridge

VoD just started working on TVDrive in Cambridge on the evening of Jan 24. Still on the NTL software. The "how-to-use" videos demo the Virgin Media menus.

I was going to say that!

Main thing interesting I noted was that some of the tv choice series said 'included in subscription' but when I tried to play one all I got was a blank screen.

Double checked this at lunchtime and lots of tv series (just about everything in tv choice as far as I could tell) that previously had a cost now come up as 'included in subscription' and despite my earlier failure are watchable as I started watching one to check. Is this a change that I had previously missed over all STB's or is it specific to the tvdrive?

The free viewing "included in subscription" is a feature of your level of subscription to TV services. Lower level subscribers have to pay extra for some of the TV Choice on-demand content.

Is there any difference between Base and Family Pack when it comes to this? Or what about Base vs. Select? I've never seen it written down anywhere.

Thanks,
Had not looked at the on-demand sections beyond the catch up one on the old STB for quite a while so was not sure if this was something that had been happening for a while or not. Good to know that I do now get these for free.
