Can I have TV Drive? No they arn't out for another 3 months...
I rang NTL customer services today to see if I could get a TV Drive installed, funny thing was that the lady (very helpful and nice) turned around to me and said there not out for another 3 months, I explained that there are few people who live near me who have it and that she must have the wrong information.
She put me on hold and trotted to get information to see if I could have it, she came back around 5 minutes later informing me that I will be able to have it on the 22nd of Jan, fair enough I thought, but the comedy started when she started to tell me the features, things like: you can record up to 8 hours of programs on the box while watching another one, it was more or less me telling her the features available on the system, I wish NTL would better train there staff sometimes, what if I was a potential customer?
On the plus side I was through more or less instantly which is good for NYL on a Saturday.
