March's article from ntl, informs us that ntl and Telewest have now completed their merger - This can be read below:-

Dear Cable Forum User
We were delighted to announce, Friday 3rd March 2006, that ntl and Telewest had completed the merger of the two businesses. In doing so we have created the UK’s second largest communications and entertainment company.
It’s worth considering what cable has done to date. For starters we have invested over £13 billion to create the country’s largest, privately funded network for the broadband era. We’ve led the development of Video on Demand TV services, created genuine competition to BT in the telephony market and without cable ‘Broadband Britain’ wouldn’t be in the Premier League.
The new enlarged cable network passes around 12 million homes and services over 5 million customers.
So what about the future? Combining ntl and Telewest positions us well. Moving forward as one company provides us with the experience and resources to really compete. That means better services for you.
Fully integrating the two businesses will take time and there will be a phased approach. For now, nothing changes. However, we do plan to integrate the two businesses creating one set of products, under one brand. So in the future, we will communicate with you about changes to services. I hope you understand that we’re still working through the best way forward, but we will communicate, what hopefully you’ll see as good news, in good time.
Last month also saw ntl scoop the Sales Support Team of the Year at the National Sales Awards. Our application for these prestigious Awards was based on a number of business improvements including rewriting our end-to-end reporting suite for the entire sales to installation journey in ntl, which has had a positive impact on our customers. This third party recognition is testament to the energy and commitment of our staff.
Lastly, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving us your views and opinions on our draft customer charter. Now that the merger is complete, we will be looking to take best from both companies’ customer charters and incorporate into one document. This process may take some time however we are committed to this project and thank you again for your support.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this update.
Peter Wilcock

Cable Forum is still working with ntl so we can help many customers get the service that they deserve - By providing useful feedback on many aspects regarding ntl's products and services.
We also continue to help many ntl customers by assessing their issues that get posted every day, in the ntl sections of our forum and if and where necessary, we will, on the customers behalf and with their consent, pass on their issues to our ntl contacts, who will then do their best to assist the customer and liaise with them to get the issue resolved.
Please note that whilst this arrangement is in place, we would like to stress that we are not a substitute for customer services and ask that if any issues do arise, that customers take the normal route of contacting ntl customer services first - if in unfortunate circumstances, normal support channels have failed, we will only be too happy to raise customer issues with our ntl contacts. Many customers have already been helped this way.

# CLAN NEWS #
You can find the gaming clan forums here:

[CF] Xbox Clan:
Not much news from these atm - seems they are all still busy on their Xbox360's.
[NTHW] PC Clan:
The [NTHW] PC gaming clan continues to evolve. We've recently upgraded our own public server. We now run 5 variations of Medal of Honour including our fun custom maps. Additionally we run Call Of Duty: United Offensive. Other Clanners are regularly participating in Battlefield 2 and we are considering a server for this too.
The clan regularly challenges other teams in Medal of Honour matches. We win some, we loose some. We've also held a second Succesful LAN party with 18 clanners all squeezing into one house with their PCs for nearly 40 hours of gaming.
Anyone wanting a game, please do visit the [NTHW] servers. We are always looking for new recruits. Please see the Cable Forum Clan Area for more details >
